We are delighted to confirm that our keynote speaker will be Barry L. Rellaford, co-founder and master facilitator with the Global Speed of Trust Practice. Barry will speak about the power of trust and collaboration to make organisations more successful and relationships more energised. His presentation will feature a practical approach to how trust can be created (and destroyed), and effectively taught and learned. Fast-paced and engaging, Barry will outline how trust can be our most effective tool in helping us to strengthen GS1 as a place for collaboration.

Bio: 

Barry Rellaford has a gift of presenting complex content in an understandable, engaging, and actionable way. He has taught trust and leadership to people from over one hundred countries. Barry’s clients include Kroger, Procter & Gamble, Verizon, Pfizer, The LEGO Group, and Pepsico.

Barry’s extensive background in people and leadership development as a coach, facilitator, and executive for several organizations gives him the informed practical experience as a masterful facilitator. He worked closely with Stephen M. R. Covey to develop the Leading at the Speed of Trust content and training offerings. Barry is the co-author with David Hutchens of the organizational parable, A Slice of Trust (Gibbs Smith).

Before co-founding the Speed of Trust Practice, Barry led FranklinCovey’s Learning Expedition Center, the company’s internal corporate university. He also served as the Vice President of Organizational Development for Metatec Corporation and as performance consultant at CompuServe Inc.

Barry received a Master’s degree in Labor and Human Resources from the Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication from Brigham Young University. He is a Gallup Certified Clifton Strengths Coach and loves to help people discover and perform their great work.

Barry and his wife, Lorilee, live in the shadows of the Rocky Mountains with their family. Barry's interests outside of work include family activities, music, reading, inspirational writing, and people development.
