Hanno Ronte is a partner at Monitor Deloitte in London with more than 25 years of consulting experience. He leads the strategy LifeSciences and Healthcare Practice in the UK and the Future of Trust in Lifesciences and Healthcare.

Hanno is responsible for the business that brings the services of Deloitte together for small and medium-sized med tech and pharma biotechs to grow and build operations in Europe – Biotech in a Box. This is business is reinforced by Hanno’s work building life science innovation clusters – often around R&D and data, with for example with the Global Medical Excellence Cluster in the ‘Golden Tirangle’ in the UK and other markets.

Hanno has a particular interest in how the lifescience industry has to increasingly operate across government, healthcare providers and payors. For lifesciences and medical device companies, his projects have focused on corporate strategy, business unit strategy, competitive response, marketing strategy and capability building as well as cost reduction and optimisation projects. He has extensive experience working at board, business unit and brand level to drive change and impact in his clients. He frequently facilitates senior executive meetings to drive decisions and create alignment.

Hanno has spoken at a number of international conferences on Real World Evidence and the future of the lifescience industry. He has also co-authored a number of Deloitte Centre for Health Solutions publications as the eminence lead.

Hanno holds a First Class BA Honours Degree in Economics from Jesus College Cambridge and an MBA with Distinction from London Business School. He is a German national, happily married with a son and two daughters and lives in London. He enjoys skiing (water and snow), photography and being a chauffeur to his children.
