Bio:

Silvia Moreira da Silva is Projects, Reporting & Contract Management Director at Hospital de Cascais, Portugal’s only public–private partnership hospital. She is an economist with a master’s degree in Health Economics and a master’s degree in Management, where her thesis focused on Emergency Department optimisation.

With 20 years of experience in the health sector—including 15 years in leadership roles as a manager and head of health unit operations—Silvia brings deep expertise in healthcare management and performance improvement. She is the author of multiple health case studies, scientific articles, and market research analyses published in health-focused journals and magazines.

Silvia holds an Executive MBA, is an IHF Young Executive Leader (2019), and has contributed to the development of HIMSS EMRAM Stage 7 projects. Her international experience spans China, India, Canada, and Mozambique.
