Bio:

Tom Woods is the Chairman of the World Bank's Global Steering Committee for Quality Assurance of Health Products. Tom is also the President of Woods International, a private sector consulting firm based in Washington, DC, and focused on promoting public/private engagement. Tom is a former US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Africa and also served as the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Africa at USAID. Tom is the Chairman of the Wilton Park USA Foundation responsible for international dialogues. Tom graduated from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
