Amplifying GS1 global impact through collaborative standards
GS1 has a long-standing commitment to aligning with other Standards Development Organisations (SDOs), which is a core guiding principle of our work. Over the past 5–10 years, however, the increasingly interconnected landscape between SDOs, regulation, and industry has created a new urgency. This evolving environment calls for a strategic review of how GS1 approaches and manages these vital external relationships, ensuring we remain responsive, relevant, and effective for our members, stakeholders and for the future relevance of the GS1 system. Come and learn how GS1 already partners with SDOs and how we could improve these relationships.
